Tickets Now Available for the Pillsbury Castle Project ASID Design Home 2024 Historic Showcase Tour in Minneapolis
The Pillsbury Castle Project and ASID Design Home 2024 in collaboration with NARI is opening its doors to the public for the first time and has released tickets for tours to take place July 12-28, 2024. ASID Design Home 2024 is a showcase home tour offering a rare opportunity for interior design, remodeling, and history enthusiasts alike to explore this impeccable preservation and restoration project.

The Pillsbury Castle Project is thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with Otogawa-Anschel Design+Build+Architecture (OA), PKA Architecture (PKA), and 27 local interior designer companies for the highly-anticipated ASID Design Home 2024. This collaborative effort brings together industry leaders to renovate an extraordinary historic home in the heart of Minneapolis.

The Pillsbury Castle Project Announces Partnership with NARI of Minnesota
The Pillsbury Castle Project is delighted to announce another major partnership for Design Home 2024. NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) of Minnesota will be joining this endeavor leveraging the construction and remodeling portion of the home. Following the restoration, the home will open to the public for three weeks in May of 2024 for in-depth tours about the history and design.

The Pillsbury Castle Project in partnership with ASID - Minnesota is proud to announce Design Home 2024 (formerly Showcase Home), a year-long transformation where a historic Whittier home will undergo a dramatic revival. Following the restoration, the home will open to the public for three weeks in May of 2024 for in-depth tours about the history and design.

7.12.24 - For the last year, work has been ongoing to preserve and restore a historic Minneapolis home. Two local entrepreneurs purchased the Pillsbury Mansion in 2023 and brought in 30 designers to furnish the 10,000 sq ft home. 9.26.2023 - After a seven-year hiatus, the American Society of Interior Designers’ Minnesota chapter (ASID-MN) relaunched its Design Home program—setting its sights on the historic Pillsbury Castle. The 1903 Minneapolis home and its 20-plus rooms and 10,000 square feet will be renovated and redesigned by the Twin Cities’ best, including OA Design+Build+Architecture (general contractor), PKA Architecture (architect), and 27 local ASID interior designers.
